This weekend’s two classes in the School of Evangelism were cancelled due to the flood emergency in the Capital Area. Contemporary Resources and Methods will not  be rescheduled.  Church Planting 101 has been added to the October 15, 2001 ERC Missional Leadership Conference to be held at the Middletown Church of God. The Commission has its early fall meeting on Wednesday, September 14th at 9:30 am at the Carlisle Church of God of Home.  Guests are always welcome.

Three Bridgebuilders Seminars are being offered this fall to help the traditional church reach its unchurched neighbors.  Dr. Steve Dunn leads these workshops which run from 9:00 am-3:30 pm.  The scheduled events (the only ones until next spring) are:

** Saturday, September 24, 2011 at the Shippensburg Church of God (registration deadline is September 21).This coming up very quickly so please register as soon as possible

** Saturday, October 29, 2011 at the Germantown Church of God (registration deadline is October 26)

** Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the Linglestown Church of God (registration deadline is November 2)

There are two remaining course offerings in the School of Evangelism for 2012.

Saturday, October 15, 2011 Evangelistic Communication with Postmoderns taught by Gilbert Thurston at the Middletown Church of God (this will be offering simultaneously with the ERC Missional Leadership Conference). Registration deadline is October 11th.

Saturday, November 10, 2011 Apologetics-Explaining the Faith taught by Bill Sloat at the ERC Office.  Registration deadline is November 6th.

In response to your request for a more detailed advanced workshop on blogging–The Spiritual Discipline of Blogging will be offered twice–Thursday, December 1 and Saturday, December 3.  The first will be offered at the Landisville Church of God.  The Saturday location has yet to be selected.  Dr. Steve Dunn and some special guests will lead this day long training event.
